DiGi launching iPhone in Malaysia this Sunday

here comes the Maxis competitor for the iPhone monopoly in Malaysia ~~ DiGi

I just got a confirmation email from DiGi that my pre-order was confirmed and i can collect it at One Utama shopping centre on 4th April 2010 !!!

so does it mean DiGi will launch the iPhone 3GS on 4th April at 1 Utama? coz i had forgotten do i prompt to choose a preferable place to pick up. sorry hahahaa

meanwhile the retail price is same as Maxis with RM1990 for iPhone 3G 8GB, RM2490 for iPhone 3GS 16GB and RM2990 for iPhone 3GS 32GB.

as mention in the confirmation letter, besides special extended plan will be given to credit card holder of Maybank, CIMB Bank, CitiBank, HSBC Bank and AmBank.

the most point to be highlighted is the actual price will be lower where depends which postpaid plan you choose.. which i think you have to pick it on the spot during ur iPhone collection.

at the same time, Maxis is not doing nothing. they had started their Birthday special promotion to subsidize RM200 on the iPhone iValue plan until 20 April 2010.

Now we will sit back and relax to see which telco provide the cheapest and most convenient package for iPhone users like us. they fight and we get the benefits? hahaa

just realise there are a few pick up dates for the pre-orders!!
as from the DiGi latest iphone website.... pricing will be out on 31st March 2010 and selected pre-orders can collect their iPhone on the same day too..!!!
