I think i remember mentioning in my previous post that i wanna share some of the iPhone apps that i'm using. However till now never start blogging about it. Worst still i have actually stop blogging for MONTHS due to some personal issues.

I start using my dream phone since the 2nd generation ~ iPhone 3G way back in Oct 2008. It was actually Hong Kong set I got it from mobile retail shop before iPhone Malaysia had actually launched in March 2009. It was way damn expensive which is almost double or the original price.

Waited Maxis to launch iPhone 4 but still no news about it.

Decided to sell off my iPhone 3GS before iPhone 4 is launched but can't wait too long without an iPhone on hand..... so i finally get my set of iPhone 4 from Singapore!!

Digi iPhone attractive Price Plan

Finally DiGi launched the iPhone 3G in Malaysia last weekend.

i went 1Utama last sunday night.. maybe is the last day for the pre-order.. i actually saw ''yellow'' ppl more than buyers hahahaa

the total amount of the 3 plans are actually almost the same price and the difference is just around RM10-RM20 only. so if you own a credit card from the 5 banks provided... it is better to pick the EPP24 or EPP 24+12 plan. Further i do think DiGi plan is really way flexible and cheaper compare to Maxis plan! if you are a heavy Data user Digi is the best choice because there is no further charge for data exceeded the limit provided. whereas Maxis will charge you from head to tail, hand and legs... easily cost you additional of RM250!! hope Maxis will do some revised plan for this extreme competitor in order to fight for new customers and also existing iPhone customers. the first batch of Maxis iPhone customers who enter into the 24months contract will be expired soon at the end of 3rd quarter.

for existing iPhone holder, DiGi also introduce this fabulous internet UNLIMITED plan at RM58 only !! despite Maxis's RM99.

my Maxis plan is gonna expired in August 2010. hope by that time the new version iPhone will be out and available in Malaysia.. then i will see which telco offer the best price... woohooo!

currently iPhone is no longer an ''unreachable'' cell phone... as nowadays on the road can easily pick at least a iPhone holder between 10 person. Apple had really make the iPhone era worldwide and also into Malaysia.

DiGi launching iPhone in Malaysia this Sunday

here comes the Maxis competitor for the iPhone monopoly in Malaysia ~~ DiGi

I just got a confirmation email from DiGi that my pre-order was confirmed and i can collect it at One Utama shopping centre on 4th April 2010 !!!

so does it mean DiGi will launch the iPhone 3GS on 4th April at 1 Utama? coz i had forgotten do i prompt to choose a preferable place to pick up. sorry hahahaa

meanwhile the retail price is same as Maxis with RM1990 for iPhone 3G 8GB, RM2490 for iPhone 3GS 16GB and RM2990 for iPhone 3GS 32GB.

as mention in the confirmation letter, besides special extended plan will be given to credit card holder of Maybank, CIMB Bank, CitiBank, HSBC Bank and AmBank.

the most point to be highlighted is the actual price will be lower where depends which postpaid plan you choose.. which i think you have to pick it on the spot during ur iPhone collection.

at the same time, Maxis is not doing nothing. they had started their Birthday special promotion to subsidize RM200 on the iPhone iValue plan until 20 April 2010.

Now we will sit back and relax to see which telco provide the cheapest and most convenient package for iPhone users like us. they fight and we get the benefits? hahaa

Going to Love MI concert 2010 @ Genting

hello... i am too free and bored now at work ... so thinking of opening a post... to crap something... lolz

i am on leave tomorrow... yeah....!!!! going up to Genting again... for Sammi Concert - LOVE MI World Tour Concert 2010 - in Malaysia....!!! This is my third time attending her concert in Malaysia...

although i had watch 4 nights of LOVE MI in Hong Kong last December 2009... although i know Genting Show will not be as good and as ''high'' as the HK ones... but still... very excited to see Sammi on stage again..!!! but this time i had chose the back middle and 山頂 place... becoz dislike genting charging more and more expensive tickets... the VIP tickets i can watch 2 nights in HK for the VIP seats already....

this time i am going with 2 colleagues for the first night concert... and hocc fans on the 2nd night concert... hahahaaa nice nice...



heard that apple is introducing a new generation iPhone this may/june 2010. many rumours on the internet making out all sorts of prediction and assumption of the 4G iPhone... afterall.. still hope that apple will come out with a video call funtion... a better megapixel camera.. and may be a slimmer iphone? hahhaa.. and the most important thing is price cheaper please..!!!

by the way... after Maxis launched the iPhone in Malaysia last year.... DiGi finally got the contract for 3 years with apple. they will be launching the iPhone soon probably next month...

Cheapest iPhone 3G S now with Maxis

Maxis had finally introduce the latest iPhone 3G S last wednesday. Malaysia will have the iPhone 3G S soonest by end of July 2009.

All iPhone 3G S from Maxis is officially factory unlocked. Which mean it can be activated with any wireless carrier. Simply insert any SIM and connect to iTunes 8.2 to complete the activation.

Similar as the previous iPhone 3G, Maxis has a variety of plans to be chosen. Surprisingly the price of the iPhone 3G S is much more cheaper compare to the iPhone 3G launched in KLCC just few months ago in March 2009. Further, it is almost the cheapest in the 'world' compared to Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong (officially unlocked version Countries).

One can now purchase outright the official unlocked iPhone 3G S from Maxis through the prepaid plan for just RM2,490 (16GB) and RM2,990 (32GB). OR You can also choose to get a FREE iPhone 3G S (16GB) if you subscribe the iValue 4 plan for 24 months.

Anyone can pre-order the iPhone 3G S set now thru Maxis website: here or drop by any Maxis center for the bookings. OR even any Machines outlets. You may not need to pick any package now as you can change it on that day you pick up the iPhone 3G S.

Please be reminded that to complete the Online Booking, you have to place a non-refundable deposit of RM200 at the Maxis Centre or MEP (Maxis Exclusive Partner) outlet that you wish to pick up your iPhone 3G S from.

As Maxis is gonna launch the iPhone 3GS soon and there is a desperate buyer approaching me, at last i decided to sell off my iPhone 3G !!!!

so heavy hearted... so i give it a ''farewell photo shoot''.

i had just recently put on the invisible shield for it... haiz...

10 months ge la... but no choice.. i can't afford to own 2 iPhone la... if not i wont sell it off... i never sell my previous hp before.. my both sony ericsson still with me .. hahhaaa may be iPhone still very valuable..

BYE la... iPhone zai...!! be good ah....... hope your new owner will treat u nicely and gently too. feel free to come back visit me la (software updates)... hahhaaaaa by now you will know that the buyer is actually someone i know ...

iPhone 3G Updated to OS 3.0 and Jailbreak

I got my iPhone 3G updated to OS 3.0 once it released in the middle of the night on 18th morning... gosh i slept at 3am =.='' that night..

got some screen shots while i was upgrading the system through iTunes.

the upgrade will prompt you for download...

after downloaded the software from iTunes... it will automatically upgrade iPhone.

after a few minutes... its DONE...!

(it says sim lock.... actually is just the sim card passcode.... the phone is not LOCKED hehee)

then need to re-plug in to iTunes

iTunes will activate the iPhone !!!

and it restart.....

and sync all your previous basic settings

here... is my iPhone 3G OS 3.0!!!

now i can send MMS on iPhone 3G !!!

and also copy, paste and cut on iPhone 3G

and of coz... delete or forward individual messages...

beside these... i found something weird and dissatisfied is this... the Region Format..

as i thought since Maxis had taken iPhone into Malaysia... we finally will have Malaysia in the iPhone region... BUT end up.... its in MALAY !!!!! ish.... why no english for Malaysia??? !!!

now i have to continue to use either Singapore or Hong Kong... why?? as a Malaysian i cant use MALAYSIA?? i dont want malay la.....!!!!

And with the additional function that i mention in the previous blog post....and also more than 100+ hidden features of OS3.0 (from Macrumors).

I found that... the iPhone shut down bit slower than before.... and the worst is the wifi connection... which i was really pissed off.... the wifi signal is always weak, not becoz my house connection, but the OS system itself.... i used to have my iPhone 3G automatically enter my house wifi when i enter my room... but now.. i have to search high n low for it =.='' and especially when the iPhone 3G turn to sleep mode the wifi will automatically off ... i have to search/detect again...

Besides that... one good news is... Jailbreak is now available for the OS 3.0 since yesterday hahahaa

got mine jailbroken already.....just a few steps to follow.... using the latest redsn0w software.. (can search through google... it can be easily found)

very happy to sync back all my useful (free) apps into my iPhone 3G !!!

Awaiting for iPhone OS 3.0 !

Apple is launching the the latest iPhone OS 3.0 software update today - June 17th in USA and available in Asia on June 18th (rumors at 01:00am). All user can just update it through iTunes.

While waiting for the update. I decided to clean up my iPhone.. hahhaaa to welcome the new software (a new iPhone) !!

remove the cover... wash it with soup.... and let it dry.... ^.^

while waiting for the cover to dry.... suddenly feel like changing the iPhone ''skin''... hahhaa i mean the screen protector.

Used it for 8 months already.... since i got another 2 new 'skin' .. why not change it... ho ho ho...

a) sync and back up all your files into iTunes

b) I did another step to delete all the jailbreak files too... just in case it took up some space of my memory (which it did happen from my last update aiksss)

now wait patiently for the update !

** still thinking to ''wear'' back the iPhone cover or leave it naked.. hahhaaa never used it naked since bought.... coz scared it will get scratch.... ooohhh but the iPhone 3G is just nice of its outer layer... and thin without the cover... never experience using it naked... how how how??? shall i wear the cover back??... iPhone !! can pls let me know... lolz

After Apple launched the iPhone 2G two years ago. The iPhone was upgraded to iPhone 3G last year in June 2008. Apple announced the iPhone OS 3.0 during the WWDC 2009 in March this year. Currently two days ago Apple introduced the latest model of iPhone 3G S.

The latest iPhone 3G S will be available to public on June 19 in USA and the worldwide in July 2009.

There will be Free Upgrades for both 2G/3G iPhones to OS3.0, a $9.95 upgrade for all iPod Touch users and available on June 17th.

Pricing for the existing iPhone 3G (black) will be slashed down to $99 while the new iPhone 3G S will have the 16GB and 32GB priced at $199 and $299 respectively. Of coz its not that cheap as it will be added up with the telco package.

Malaysia by Maxis telco is yet to be announced, probably in July.
